I was thinking about my future in-laws today, and after reading a few blogs about the "horrific mother-in-law" archetype I realized how lucky I am. My future in-laws are truly amazing people that I adore completely.

Christopher's mother is a fantastic woman who spreads her love and talent to anyone that is worth her energy. She loves and supports her family in any way she can, and I love being around this woman. She is an AMAZING cook, and I throughly enjoy spending meal time (and anytime) with her. I am very thankful that she raised such an amazing son, and I love her for it.

Chris, my Christopher's father, is also a lovely spirit. He is joyous, witty and loves his family. Although a terrible disease has taken some things in life from him, he still puts his heart and mind out to the community in any way he can. He uses his wit and mind is fighting against political issues still, and this is what I find most enjoyable to discover and find out about this lovely man. He is simply amazing and I adore the time I have spent with him.

Of course, this love for these two people does not surpass the love I feel for their son, Christopher. He is the person that makes me smile on days I do not wish to smile, and the person that I can come for anything. He is truly an amazing person, and his love for his parents is something that I love dearly. He helps both of them out in any way that he can, and even though he gets frustrated sometimes, he still cherishes them with all his heart.

Both Deb and Chris (his parents) are so proud of the son they raised, and I am so thankful that they did indeed raise such an amazing son.
